Truth4Youth is not just for students! The message of abstinence should come first and foremost from the parents. Truth4Youth aims to assist parents to know what you are saying when it comes to your kid and the topic of sex. Good decision making skills are taught through words, guidelines and positive role modeling from the parents.
So What Do You kNOw?
If you are like most parents, you probably know your kids pretty well. You know their likes and dislikes, talents and weaknesses. You know what makes them tick. You know that overall, they're pretty good kids. And they're growing up fast.
But what about you? Are you keeping up to speed with the issues they face, how they think, and how to talk to them about the important stuff? Are you in the kNOw? Most parents are glad for a little extra help when it comes to talking about sex with their children. Where do you start? What do you say?
Abstinence education can help. More than ever before, youth need the truth about sex. They need to kNOw that sex is best enjoyed inside a marriage relationship and that abstinence until marriage gives them the best chance at a happy and healthy future.
